THE S & R LOGISTICS STORY
S & R LOGISTICS is the combined effort & 35 plus years of experience of Rich and Karla Paulisich, and Damian McNamara. Rich and Damian have both been in trucking since their early years.
HISTORY
Rich Paulisich bought his first Kenworth in 1985 and built S & R Transport & Forklift into the San Francisco Bay Area’s leading flatbed, stepdeck & heavy haul carrier.
S & R Forklift & Rigging has also grown into a fleet of over 30 forklifts servicing the 5 western states. Rich & Karla Have Run a successful 12 truck company for going on 40 years.
Damian McNamara drove semi-trucks for 20 years gaining trucking experience in auto transport, flatbed, stepdeck , heavy haul, and dry van. He also owned his own trucks in the 1990’s. Once he retired from driving, Damian went on to work as a Landstar agent for 15 years, learning all aspects of nationwide logistics, air, and ocean freight.
LOGISTICS
Rich and Damian have shared a multi-decade business relationship and friendship. In 2018 they decided to come together to open S & R Logistics. With a combined 70 years of experience and a shared vision, the two men have built this company to perform with the highest-level safety and professionalism, always keeping in mind that their customers are the top priority.
In the years they have been together this logistics company has completed many large projects including unloading four ships and sorting and delivering all the freight ahead of schedule and under budget. They consistently assist valued customers in all industries with their local and long-haul needs.
THE FUTURE
Looking ahead Rich & Damian are expanding their carrier network throughout the country and have a 5-year partnership with Bennett Motor to provide global access. S & R has modernized its forklift fleet with lifts that can handle up to 100,000 lbs. They have added warehousing to assist customers with ever-changing storage needs, groomed their team to meet the needs of an ever-changing world, and have updated technology and operating systems to keep up with the 21st century.
S & R Logistics is always growing and learning. They look forward to continuing to serve customers with professional, no-nonsense service that ‘gets the job done’.
